Private lodging in charming older annex centrally situated in Old Gilleleje — opposite the church.
From Smáttan, it is a only couple minutes walk to the Kulturhavn with cinema and events all year.
There is the active fishery harbour of Gilleleje with shipyard and marina a stone's throw away.
The old part of town provides a charming small town atmosphere with narrow streets between old thatched roofs. Downtown are many shops and cafés and restaurants in all price ranges.
The beaches both east and west of the harbour have life guards in the summer months. The eastern pier by the marina is also a popular spot.
Buses and trains are within a few minutes walking distance. Circa 30 minutes to Helsingør (Elsinore) or Hillerød; about 1 hour by car to København (Copenhagen) / CPH airport.
The name of the house is Faroese. Smáttan [smottan] is the term for a small cozy house.
